The top of the box is sponged with tan, and then painted in a penny rug style which showcases a peaceful saltbox house scene. The band of the lid and bottom of the box are painted in a deep barn red and is handpainted with the wording "Faith, Family, Friends" and accented with stroke work. The box is 8" across and stands about 4-l/4" high.
